Review | Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

That's right. It's gorgeous, so beautiful, and it has my favourite colours too. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. Big round of applause please. This palette isn't new therefore you probably have seen 1001 reviews about it everywhere on Instagram/Youtube/blog. But I still want to you to know how I feel about it.

PACKAGING

The shadows are secured with a sturdy cardboard and because of that, it's slightly lightweight which makes it easier for travelling. The outer skin of this palette has a velvet texture and it makes me so paranoid about it so I constantly keep it in the box. And for convenience sake, it has a mirror and a dual ended brush for blending!

WORTH OR NAH?

As you can see, this palette has 85% matte shades. So for a person that loves matte shades more than anything else, it's a big fat YES. The shadows are buttery and soft (causes fall outs but I do not mind at all) and very easy to blend. Do not let the reds/oranges in the palette intimidate you because you will learn to love it. Plus, the sunset look is still in trend now so it's not too late to grab this palette.
